| YOU ARE INVITED The Building Envelope Institute invites you to join us on January 20-21, 2014 in Tampa, FL for two days of technical sessions filled with information and analysis of a number of building envelop (roofing, waterproofing and exterior wall) investigation protocols. Sessions (see list at the bottom of this page) include actual case studies and useful information to improve your investigation skills, and the skills you apply to the design of building envelopes. Attendees of this program, which runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm each day, will also receive the following: - 14.0 AIA LU's and/or 14.0 RCI CEU's.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS PROGRAM Are you an experienced architect, consultant, developer, engineer or contractor that designs and/or inspects the building envelope portion of commercial and/or residential buildings? Do you, and/or your firm, conduct leak investigations on commercial and residential buildings? Do you, and/or your firm, design and/or develop commercial and/or residential buildings? Do you and/or your firm create or review plans, details & specifications for the roofing, waterproofing and/or exterior wall portions of residential and/or commercial buildings? Are you new to the above referenced fields and want to make sure you are doing it right? Are you uncertain as to the correct protocol or standard to apply or use on various aspects of a building envelope investigation? Are you interested in advancing your commercial and residential building design, installation or forensic investigation skills? If you answered yes to any of the above then you, and your staff, should attend this program. This two-day Building Envelope Investigation seminar will walk you through the process of applying industry accepted standards, protocols and investigation methodology to the investigation of low-rise (four-stories and less) commercial and residential buildings. Case studies of proper investigations included with each presentation will also illuminate design and installation errors that could have been easily avoided. This program will be held on January 20-21, 2014 at the Doubletree by Hilton Tampa Airport-Westshore hotel. This hotel offers free shuttle to and from the airport, free parking and free internet. |
